libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl software package provides simplified alternative to Alien::FFI that uses system libffi, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl
libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl *
